Description | Shortly before the start of the event, I had to merge two classes via a combined regulation. Delete the group arrangement of the two affected groups, set up the combined regulations, create a new group, delete the old groups in the schedule and insert the new group. So far everything was fine. But I could not print out the averally group arrangement for the qualification anymore, the group arrangement only showed group 8, but not groups 1 to 7. I reloaded everything, deleted another group and created a new one etc. It didn't help, it was not possible to print out the complete group arrangement for the qualification. |

Jan 18, 2024 12:24:22 PM | Felix Romer | The problem is with the setting "Take over the group sort order from the time schedule" (see attachment "17-01-2024_10-25-36.png"). If this is activated for me, then I only see group 8 in the report. If I deactivate this option, then all 8 groups are listed (see attachment "Heat Arrangement.pdf"). The problem lies in the schedule itself, in which the references to groups 1 to 7 are probably not correct. I will take a closer look at this and get back to you. |
Jan 18, 2024 12:24:54 PM | Felix Romer | I looked at the data and found the problem (see attachment). The value of the selected data records should not be 2, but 1, as in the data record of "Group 8" listed just above.
Could it be that you defined 4 runs at the beginning and then reduced this to 3? The values for "heat_id" are not correct for all heats - they are all 1 too high. In other words, for Qualy heat 3 the value is 4 (instead of 3), for Qualy heat 2 the value is 3 (instead of 2) and for Qualy heat 1 the value is 2 (instead of 1) - except for the 3 data sets of group 8 - these are OK. |
Jan 18, 2024 12:25:30 PM | Felix Romer | No, there were only ever three qualifying runs defined. BUT: The original plan was to have a training run before the first qualifying run, but I no longer included it in the schedule because the schedule was simply too tight for a training run.
I then deleted the training run from the regulations at some point, i.e. removed the tick. Would that be the explanation? That would have an amazing effect |
Jan 18, 2024 12:26:37 PM | Felix Romer | Yes, that should be the explanation for the fact that the index of the runs was one too high everywhere.
I will check if I can make an adjustment to the schedule so that such a problem can no longer occur - but I have to check this carefully so that I don't introduce subsequent errors. |
